Surrogates Opening Party
Anybots is throwing a movie opening party tomorrow night for Surrogates. It's set in the future where people all stay home and send their telepresence robots to the office. Adventure ensues, Bruce Willis saves the day. We like the premise. They interviewed some so-called robotics experts (incl. myself) for this documentary:
The party will start at Anybots (320 Pioneer Way in Mountain View) at 5:30 Friday. There'll be snacks and robot demos, and free movie tickets for the first 40 people in the door. Then we'll head to Shoreline Theater for the 7:20 show. Carpool if you can. It should be a good crowd -- come and be part of it! Feel free to bring along anyone you think would be interested. Kids are welcome too (the movie itself is PG-13.)
